WOW Annual Group Show Begins

The Beginning of WOW! Shows

WOW! presented its first fine art exhibition in September of 2010 entitled “Painting Our Passion.” Held at The Tualatin Heritage Center, the show included over 20 artists and approximately 150 original paintings. It was written up in the Oregonian, attended by hundreds of people, and created quite a buzz!

For the next seven years, WOW! put on gallery style “friends and family” art shows, such a  "Art Garden" and "Art Splash", including a few bigger ambition shows like our "Falling For Irresistible Art" Show, all held at the Tualatin Heritage Center, Tualatin, Oregon.

In the following years, the Keizer Art Association (KAA) invited WOW! to present a yearly show to be on display in the Keizer Art Gallery, Keizer, Oregon.

WOW! Annual Group Show Begins
(known as WAGS)

The WOW! Annual Group Show (WAGS) came into being, providing WOW! current members in good standing an opportunity to show their art in a yearly WOW! art show in row Keizer Art Gallery. A juror judged the entries and presented the awards at a reception held by the Keizer Art Association (KAA).

In 2017 WOW! Wild Over Watercolor presented its first WOW! Annual Group Show (WAGS) at the Keizer Art Gallery at the invitation of the Keizer Art Association (KAA). Over 65 paintings were displayed in the September art show.  WOW! returned in September of 2018 to present a second WOW! Annual Group Show at the Keizer Art Gallery with a remarkable showing of their watercolor artwork.

After a break, WOW! continued with WAGS showing our members' watercolor art in the month of August during 2023, 2024, and 2025.
